Trans-IR flows to black hole singularities

چکیده

We study analytic continuations of holographic renormalization group (RG) flows beyond their infrared (IR) fixed points. Such ``trans-IR'' are a natural framework for describing physics inside black holes. First, we construct monotonic $a$-function which counts degrees freedom along trans-IR flow. Using this function, argue that the ``thin out'' and vanish when flowing to endpoint, represented by Kasner singularity. then recast well-studied quantum information probes in language flows, finding entanglement complexity from volume generally fail fully probe while 2-point correlations action do so complementary manner.

Acoustic analogues of black hole singularities

We search for acoustic analogues of a spherical symmetric black hole with a pointlike source. We show that the gravitational system has a dynamical counterpart in the constrained, steady motion of a fluid with a planar source. The equations governing the dynamics of the gravitational system can be exactly mapped in those governing the motion of the fluid. The different meaning that singularitie...

Quantum resolution of black hole singularities

We study the classical and quantum theory of spherically symmetric spacetimes with scalar field coupling in general relativity. We utilise the canonical formalism of geometrodynamics adapted to the Painleve-Gullstrand coordinates, and present a new quantisation of the resulting field theory. We give an explicit construction of operators that capture curvature properties of the spacetime and use...

Removing Black-hole Singularities with Nonlinear Electrodynamics

We propose a way to remove Black-Hole Singularities by using a particular nonlinear electrodynamic Lagrangian that has been recently used in various astrophysics and cosmological frameworks. In particular, we adapt the cosmological analysis of Phys. Rev. D 65, 063501 (2002) to the Black Holes physics. It is well known that the concept of Black-Hole has been considered very fascinating by scient...

Numerical models of black hole accretion flows

Black hole accretion flows are the hot, magnetized, turbulent plasma that surround black holes in astrophysical settings and in some cases make them the most luminous objects in the universe. I review recent developments in the numerical modeling of these plasmas. For weakly radiating flows it is now possible to follow the dynamics of the plasma by integrating the equations of general relativis...

Standing Shocks in Trans-magnetosonic Accretion Flows onto a Black Hole

Fast and slow magnetosonic shock formation is presented for stationary and axisymmetric magnetohydrodynamical (MHD) accretion flows onto a black hole. The shocked black hole accretion solution must pass through magnetosonic points at some locations outside and inside the shock location. We analyze critical conditions at the magnetosonic points and the shock conditions. Then, we show the restric...
